After Ellie breaks free from David's confinement, we soon learn he's more of a monster than anything found outside the walls of his camp, culminating in a horrifying showdown between Ellie and David in a burning diner. ![]() Since then, he's been hunting Joel specifically, capturing Ellie in hopes of winning her over. He later gives it to Tommy after Sarah is injured, so that he could carry her. This was Joel's personal revolver which he stored in a drawer in his house in Austin. The revolver is first seen in-game when Joel Miller uses one to kill Jimmy Cooper. Initially posing as a friend to Ellie as he helps her survive against a horde of infected, David eventually shows his true colours when he reveals his men were behind the attack on the Science Building in The University chapter. The revolver is a pistol in The Last of Us, a small firearm in Factions MP, and a short gun in The Last of Us Part II. Met during the Lakeside Resort chapter, David is the leader of a gang of ruthless hunters that Ellie and Joel encounter during the winter. The first one can be taken out in a stealthy fashion by hiding behind the counter, hopping over as the guy inspects behind the counter. Henry took Sam to Pittsburgh in a bid to reach the Fireflies' base, wanting to ensure they both were supported by a large community. ![]() We see this firsthand during the final moments of the Pittsburgh chapter, when Henry abandons Joel to save Sam after the hunter turret tracks them down.ĭuring The Suburbs chapter, we discover Henry was only five when the outbreak hit, although he does remember a few things from his life prior to the apocalypse. We learn from Henry that he's been caring for Sam since he was young and will do anything to protect him, no matter what.
